Monton Squash with its two high quality court offers facilities for players of all standards from juniors and beginners up to international players, a number of whom play on our First Team.
If you are just starting out or are keen to take your squash to the next level of skill and ability, then Monton could be the place to offer you the opportunity.
Junior coaching is available every Saturday afternoon and individual coaching can always be arranged.
The Club fields five in the North West Counties Squash League, regular junior team matches and the hope that in the coming year we will once again be in a position to field a ladies team in the Lancashire League.
So whatever your standard of play, we are able to provide you with the opportunity to participate in, sociable and competitive team matches which are played Thursday evening through September to April season.
Monton first team plays in the NWCSL First Division and having only entered the division in the season 2002/2003 finished second in the division 2003/2004 missing out by one point. The NWCSL includes many nationally and internationally ranked players and Monton's team has included professionals, World Ranked and No 1 ranked Irish Internationals, Liam Kenny, world No 49 Alex Stait, Jordanian No1 Mohamed El Said and British and European Junior No1 Laurence Delasaux, also making the line up when available has been squash pin up and world ranked No 5 and No 1 England Vicky Botwright. First team matches are played every Tuesday evening and spectators are always welcome.
